Time - by me.

Lying on your bed you’re suddenly a million years away
Then night: the moon, the stars above; it all seems so cliché.
The countless hours wondering where it all began
When it’s all over and it’s all done, the beginning will end again
If an instant could last for eternity it would and always does
And if you could defy the laws of time would you make it what it was?
For fear of losing hours in darkness light will find its way
And all the sadness that seemed forever will not be on that day
Even infinity is not forever, as everything must end
And if it were eternal, where and when did it begin?
The most comforting thought I’ve conjured is this:
There is no such “eternal bliss”
There is no future, nor a past
Your time is here… so make it last.
